CONSULTATION ON DOVER DISTRICT LOCAL PLAN REVIEW REGULATION 19 SUBMISSION (The Local Plan

Consultation has commenced on The Local Plan and supporting documents today for a period of 7 weeks until 9th December. You have hopefully received a pack of paper documents in the post this week for your use and information, including a copy of the Local Plan and information leaflets and guidance notes. (These were posted out on Tuesday and if not received this may be due to postal strikes and will arrive shortly).

All the information about the Local Plan and the consultation details can be found here on the dedicated website: Get Involved (doverdistrictlocalplan.co.uk). This includes PDFs of the documents such as posters, event details and guidance notes which can be downloaded and shared with residents. Your assistance in promoting the consultation through sharing the information on local notice boards and on your websites and social media channels would be greatly appreciated. If you require any additional paper copies of documents please contact us using the details below.

We are encouraging comments to be made online, as people then receive an automated acknowledgment and can login at any time to review or add to their comments, and can make them against the most relevant section of the Local Plan to their comment. There are guidance notes on the website above and will shortly be a ‘how to comment’ video guide available on how to use the online portal too.

If you have any questions or have any issues accessing the Local Plan or other consultation documents online, or have any questions, please telephone the Local Plan team on the dedicated Local Plan phone line – 01304 872244 – between the hours of 14:00-16:00 Monday, Wednesday and Friday for assistance or email localplan@dover.gov.uk.
