We thank Lesley Ede, Dover District NHW Committee, for providing the following details of a probable BT scam ,“I had a knock at the door about 8pm in the evening from a young lady purporting to be from BT. She asked my daughter to unlock her phone and then hand the phone to her. She would then put in a code to test the speed of our internet. She had a person with her.Either it was a scam or they intended to steal the phone or maybe it was some sort of way of getting business.I told both of them we were not interested.”
