Dover District Local Plan Consultation

Dover District Council is responsible for drafting the Local Plan which sets out its vision, and
strategy until 2040. The Local Plan will guide future development for Eastry, setting out land for
housing, the local employment, community facilities and infrastructure and how it will conserve
and enhance the built and natural environment.
I would like to urge you to raise the level of debate and have your say on the Local Plan which will
affect our lovely village of Eastry and in particular give your views on the planned housing
developments.
Here’s how to give your opinion.
1. Search online for Dover District Council ‘Local Plan’ or enter this link into your browser
https://dover-consult.objective.co.uk/kse/folder/19736
2. Create a username and password to register. You will receive an automated email in order
to activate your account.
3. Click on the ‘Regulation 19 Consultation on the Dover District Local Plan Submission
Document Local Plan’. You will then be prompted to answer a series of questions.
