Kent County Council gives notice that for the safety of the public and workforce during roadworks, a temporary mandatory speed limit of 40 MPH has been imposed on a section of A256 Whitfield Bypass, Whitfield.
The 40 MPH applies in both directions on Whitfield Bypass, Whitfield 100 metres either side of the signals directly north of the Richmond Park Roundabout, to the extent indicated by signage clearly displayed on site.
This takes effect on 28th October 2024 for up to 21 days. The restrictions will be lifted as soon as works are completed and it is safe to do so.
The restrictions have been introduced for the safety of the public and workforce whilst the placement of traffic signals at Richmond Park Roundabout are to be carried out by Kent County Council.
This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 21 days.
