Temporary Road Closure – A256 Whitfield BypassWhitfield – 16th November 2022 for 3 Nights, between 20:00 hours and 05:00 hours

It will be necessary to close the southbound carriageway of A256 Whitfield Bypass, Whitfield from 16th November 2022 with estimated completion by 19th November 2022.

The southbound carriageway of A256 Whitfield Bypass, Whitfield will be closed between Richmond Way and A256 Whitfield Interchange Northern roundabout, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A2 Between Junction With A256 And Duke Of Yorks Roundabout, A258 Deal Road/Dover Road/The Strand/Victoria Road/Ranelagh Road/Prince of Wales Terrace/Beach Street/Broad Street/Queen Street/London Road/Sandwich Road/Deal Road, A256 Sandwich Road/Eastry Bypass/Whitfield Bypass.

In reverse is via A256 Whitfield Bypass/Eastry Bypass/Sandwich Road, A258 Deal Road/Sandwich Road/London Road/Queen Street/Broad Street/Beach Street/Prince of Wales Terrace/Deal Castle Road/Victoria Road/The Strand/Dover Road/Deal Road and A2 Between Junction With A256 And Duke Of Yorks Roundabout.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial kerb and carriageway works are undertaken by Walker Construction UK Ltd.
