Temporary Road Closure – High Street & Lower Street, Eastry – 2nd December 2021 for 5 Working Nights between 19:30hrs and 05:00hrs.

High Street and Lower Street, Eastry will be closed between Pike Road and Woodnesborough Lane.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Sandwich Road, A256 Eastry By-pass, Dover Road and vice versa.

The following diversions whilst resurfacing the roads below will apply;

Brook Street – Diversion is via Hay Hill, Updown Road and Northbourne Road.

Mill Lane – Diversion is via Mill Lane, Gore Lane, Gore Road, Woodensborough Lane, Foxborough Hill and Statenborough Lane.

Northbourne Road – There is no alternative route as the road is a cul-de-sac. Access for any residents affected will be maintained when it is safe to do so, but there are likely to be delays and certain times when this is not possible for safety reasons.

Pike Road – Diversion is via Pike Road and Venson Road.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway resurfacing works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
