Temporary Road Closure – Woodnesborough Road, Sandwich – from 15th August 2022 & 22nd October 2022
It will be necessary to close part of Woodnesborough Road, Sandwich from 15th August 2022 with estimated completion by 26th August 2022 and from 22nd October 2022, with estimated completion by 30th October 2022.
Woodnesborough Road, Sandwich will be closed between number 155 and 3 Poulders Gardens, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is Woodnesborough Road, Sandwich Road, The Street, Fir Tree Hill, Foxborough Hill, Statenborough Lane, Sandwich Road, A256 Sandwich Road, A258 Deal Road, Dover Road, St Barts Road and vice versa.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to install a pedestrian island and tactile crossing are undertaken by Kingsheath Construction Ltd.
