Eastry Parish Council are grateful to all the parishioners who have reported to the Clerk that the new solar lights near to the allotments have not always been working properly.
DDC have now installed an additional solar panel on each light, they have all been tested and are currently working correctly.
As the lights are solar they do conserve energy and do not fully light up until you walk towards them and then dim again as you walk away, they are not as bright as the LED street lights that lead to Centenary Gardens.
