PIKE ROAD, EASTRY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (2)
Kent County Council gives notice that Pike Road , Eastry will be closed to through
traffic, on or after 10th May 2022 for up to 7 days.
The road is closed at outside Buttsole Pond Cottage.
The alternative route is via Thornton Lane, Mill Lane, Lower Street.
This closure has been necessary to enable water mains repairs to be carried out by
Southern Water.
This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a
period of no more than 21 days.

It will be necessary to close Selson Lane, Eastry & Woodnesborough from 5th May 2022 with estimated completion by 6th May 2022.

Selson Lane will be closed for the entire length.

The alternative route is Gore Lane, Foxborough Hill, Drainless Road, Hammill Road and vice versa.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while utility repair and maintenance works are undertaken by Openreach.

It will be necessary to close A256 Richborough Way, Ramsgate, from 30th March 2022, with estimated completion by 2nd April 2022.

A256 Richborough Way, Ramsgate, will be closed for the entire length.

The alternative route is A299 Hengist Way, Sandwich Road, Ramsgate Road and vice versa.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while high speed lining and cats eye works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
