Following the close of the public hearing sessions for the Examination in 2023, the Government-appointed Planning Inspectors examining the Local Plan have recommended a number of Main Modifications to the Local Plan to make the plan ‘sound’.
The Council must now hold a public consultation on the Main Modifications to the Local Plan, in addition to the Schedule of Policies Map Modifications, the Sustainability Appraisal for the Main Modifications and the updated Habitat Regulations Assessment Report.

The consultation opens on the Thursday, 11th April 2024 and we need to receive your comments no later than 5pm on Friday, 24th May 2024.
